#Wednesday workout – Toe touch

Today’s #WednesdayWorkout is with Bootcamp Pilates Instructor, Maria Cruz as she takes us through steps to perform the toe touch.

Targets: the abs concentrically with the flexion and the obliques concentrically with the twist.

  1. Lie on your back with your legs extended above you.
  1. Then raise your right arm until it is straight and over your shoulder.
  2. As you exhale, use your abdominal muscles to lift your head and shoulders off the mat as you reach to touch your left foot with your right hand.
  1. To end the exercise, inhale as you lower your head and shoulders slowly back to the mat.
  1. Repeat this on the other side with your other arm.
  1. Aim to perform 10 on each side.
