Why the hundred?

Many of you will be familiar with the ‘hundred‘ exercise from our classes but I’m sure many of you often wonder why you are being told to do it!


  • It is a great exercise that gets your whole body warm and sometimes even breaking a sweat!
  • It gets your breath going strong and your blood pumping
  • It really works your abdominals helping to increase the stability in your torso.
  • And the great thing about this exercise is that if it’s too easy with your legs in tabletop you can make it harder by extending your legs out in-front of you at a 45 degree angle.
